What Am I? Christmas by Anne Margaret Lewis

Preschool:
The Gingerbread Pirates by Kristin Kladstrup

Fancy Nancy's Splendiferous Christmas by Jane O'Connor

What am I? Christmas by Margaret Anne Lewis

Llama Llama Holiday Drama by Anne Dewdney

Flannelboard:
*Ideas for this flannelboard were found at Loons and Quines and So Tomorrow. The full poem can be found at Crafty Chic Mommy.

Rudolph, Rudolph
Rudolph, Rudolph, what will you do?
You can't guide Santa's sleigh if your nose is BLUE

Rudolph, Rudolph, you're such a silly fellow
Who will know it's you if your nose is YELLOW

Rudolph, Rudolph, your way cannot be seen,
Through the wintry weather if your nose is GREEN

Rudolph, Rudolph, Santa gave a wink
But what will he say if your nose is PINK?

Rudolph, Rudolph, it's time to fly at night
But you can't get through the snow if your nose is WHITE

Rudolph, Rudolph, it's time to go to town
But you can't help Santa if your nose is BROWN

Rudolph, Rudolph, Santa has his sack
But you're not ready if your nose is BLACK

Rudolph, Rudolph, the children are in bed
And now we can get on our way because your nose is RED

5 Little Snowmen - Flannelboard (found at Nikarella's Narrating Tales of Preschool Storytime)

Five little snowmen standing in a row;
Each has a hat and a big red bow.
Out came the sun and it shone all day,
And one little snowman melted away.

Four little snowmen…

One little snowman standing all alone, with one red hat and one red bow, out came the sun and it stayed all day, no more little snowmen, they all melted away!

Songs:
We used Hap Palmer's Holiday Magic CD.
We passed out egg shakers with Jingle Bells/ The Jingle Song and at the end we sang We Wish You A Merry Christmas.
Everybody got a special little treat of a a gingerbread cookie and sticker. :)

Craft:
We used Oriental Trading's Reindeer Ornaments

  1. I still haven't sent your Christmas goodies from work, so you're not so late. When you do get your stuff, think of it as early for St. Patrick's Day.
